This vintage fukusa is made of ro, summer sheer silk, and has exotic fog/clouds, bamboo, and Japanese castle motifs which are dyed. Some part of the patters are embroidered, ( bamboo leaves, edges of the temple,
curve of the clouds). Please enjoy its graceful and mysterious motif on ro material. The back side has a big kamon with edges stitched with silver thread. There are tassels still firmly attached on four corners.
There are quite a few patinas on right side of the front of the fukusa.
There are also many patinas near the kamon area on the back. However,it is still a very charming piece!
