This is a nagoya obi from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has a gorgeous noh performer motif on the wide part, 'tsuzumi'(Japanese hand drum) motif on the narrow part, which are finely embroidered. Textile is silk and has soft touch.
There are a few stains and patina on both wide and narrow parts. Stains on the narrow part are quite large and noticeable but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
*Nagoya obi needs some accessories to complete the square bow in a traditional style.
