This black maru obi is from Meiji period(1868-1912). It has elegant paulownia and takara motifs, which is woven very finely.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has prominent frays in the hems/ends/corners and couple of parts of middle part. It also has a slight folding line, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
