This is a magnificent black susohiki of geisha.
Susohiki lieterally means `trail the skirt' and this particular kimono is much longer than other kimono and the bottom is padded. This is worn to do the elegant dance with a folding fan in the Japanese style drawing room.
This piece has dramatic noble people picture, which is dyed with yuzen technique. Kamon of okiya( geisha house) is dyed out white.
It has small stains and slight discoloration, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
